Spring photo shoot with a talented stylist

This spring we joined forces with the talented stylist Jakub Lípa, who created four different festive tables for us with our glass. We interviewed Jakub to tell us about his inspiration and creative process.

"The planning process is always a little different and inspiration comes from somewhere else every time. But I like to start with a preliminary moodboard, which starts the entire process of creating a creative concept. I always find a center around which everything unfolds (wreaths, moss, bows, color combination and other things)."

Moss Table

The first installation we photographed. Jakub tried to capture the transition from winter to the awakening spring. "Inspiration it began in nature, where snowdrops and the first spring bulbs began to peek out among the melting snow."

Finally, we used the moss decoration for two placemats. The first is more forest and mysterious, and the second is bright, lively and sunny.

The rusticity and rawness of the entire table was underlined by the herbarium of snowdrops on the wall and wooden accessories. And the icing on the cake — sponges from glasses and little bottles, it was Jakub's great idea!

Citrine Lilac table

Probably the freshest color combination from our portfolio. Here the whole process was completely reversed and started by the glass itself. "L ila and citrine form a beautiful contrast, they go well together and something simply drew me to them. The accessory was a hand-tied simple birch wreath with an XXL bow, and the small bows on the glasses beautifully connected the entire table setting together," commented Jakub.

Willow table

Jakub told us about his vision: "Spring inevitably ends with the greening of all nature, so the process began here with this color. I made green barren wreaths and tied them together to create a centerpiece to complete the scene."

From our portfolio, he chose stemmed glasses in a soft pastel pink, which was a perfect contrast to the wildness of the willow twigs.

Notice the new design we've been working on that we've incorporated into the placemats?

Purple table

The whole idea came about when we took Jakub to our warehouse, where he saw how beautiful shades of purple and pink look together.

"R ád I use things a little differently than originally intended and thus by turning the vases 'upside down and inside out' an egg center was created, around which the entire decoration was created. "
