KLIMCHI x CIRCLE
A unique connection of two Czech brands that symbolize love for craftsmanship, but also the sustainability trend. The thematic photo shoot is focused on combining the culinary art of Petr Bartoš with our glass products, e.g. with the new collection of Royal Marika bowls.
" The use of glass and establishing cooperation with Czech glass artists is starting to appear quite often in fine dining restaurants in the Czech Republic," says Petr Bartoš, founder and chef of the unique gastronomic concept KRUH Dining. " As part of our cooperation with František, we decided to focus primarily on the possibility of using individual KLIMCHI products in multiple ways. We succeeded in this, for example, with a bowl from the Royal Marika collection for one of the courses of our tasting menu," says Bartoš.
František Jungvirt emphasizes multi-purpose when designing new products. He wants KLIMCHI products not only to be decorative: "Let's not surround ourselves with quantity, let's rather buy one valuable piece that we can serve with throughout the day, with which we will enjoy getting up, having lunch and relaxing with a tea candle." This is the meaning of my design and subsequent dining with modern KLIMCHI glass. Let's live a better life with Czech glass full of stories and honest work."
Bartoš meaningfully named his project CIRCLE, which symbolizes cyclicality and respect for the natural cycle. It focuses on using available and ethically responsible resources in the kitchen. The project also reflects the safe space around us, the circle of closest people with whom we share pleasant moments.
